Tyler Ryan's on camera career dates back to his days in the northeast, where he appeared in various commercials and locally produced programming. Tyler has consistently continued to hone his craft, delivery, presence, and presentation, and continued to find success in not only pitch work for commercial products, but episodic programming, web TV shows, and broadcast news.
Tyler joined WACH-Fox in 2007 as a weather anchor, eventually becoming a morning host and news anchor on Good Day Columbia. Tyler produced several segments and franchises, including Tyler's Travels, Food Friday, Wild Wednesdays, and Farm Eye for the City Guy. Tyler also wrote and produced 10 Weeks at Jackson, a one hour documentary on basic training at Fort Jackson.
Tyler also created and hosted the cooking competition show "The Manmade Gourmet."

Tyler has won and been nominated for many awards over the years, including the South Carolina Broadcasters Association Television Personality of the Year, public service awards, a Farm Bureau National Service award as well as several nominations for Best of Columbia.
After many years at WACH, Tyler brought his hosting chops to the
7 seas, as a Cruise Director for Carnival Cruise. The call of the
Midlands brought him back to town, where he continued his work
with the media, both in front and behind the camera.
In 2016, Tyler returned to his journalistic roots, joining the cast of
ABC Columbia's Good Morning Columbia as a weather anchor,
investigative journalist, and morning show co-host.

Tyler has conducted thousands of interviews ranging from local and national politicians, entertainers, musicians, experts, and local "characters."
